Debi Alston

board member

Debi Alston has over thirty years’ experience in property management and holds her CPM designation. She is involved with her local chapter and has served on the Hearts and Hammer committee along with the Board of Directors of the Dallas Apartment Finders. Ms. Alston volunteers her time between Make-A-Wish, World Vision, and her Church Family.

Debi has been a Christ follower for as long as she can remember, but it wasn’t until her marriage of 22-years started to unravel in 2006, shortly after losing her mom to a long term illness, did God become bigger in her life. Through this, God was only preparing her for her next role as the Women’s Ministry Leader at Willow Bend Church, where she has attended since 1994.

When she is not helping others, she is hanging out with her two grown daughters and their families, which include three beautiful grandchildren.

Cyndi Crawford

Board Member

Cyndi Crawford has had her own bookkeeping business for the past 23 years. Her home church is The Heights Church where she began her recovery journey in January of 2010 and has volunteered in several positions in leadership at her home Celebrate Recovery in Richardson, TX.  She came to recovery due to suicidal ideation & depression stemming from unresolved anger from her childhood due to every kind of abuse she suffered.

After attending the CR National Summit in the summer of 2017 where she heard about the Native Nations Initiative and the statistics of the native population on the reservations in America, she felt a tug on her heart. She relocated to Alliance, NE at the calling of the Lord to minister to the native population in western Nebraska and on Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota in February 2019 where she continues to serve as a missionary as well as working at her business.

In Cyndi’s spare time she is fulfilling a lifelong dream of working with, learning about & riding horses. Her plan is to get equipped to do equine assisted coaching with at risk youth, women coming from abuse & veterans on the reservation & locally. She also finds joy in spending time with her 2 amazing dogs, Alex & Wally…and her grandchildren when she visits the DFW area!
